1983 Batch, ranked 21st in the entire state for M.P.S.C merit list and joined at the rank of P.S.I, Sir. Ravindra M. Rasal is one of the most decorated officers in the Maharashtra Police Cadre. He served for 37 long years & 3 months receiving more than 250 plus awards and special recognitions. Member of the Maharashtra Police cadre, served at the rank of ACP, he has been instrumental in crime prevention throughout the State of Maharashtra, but to name the very few districts that needs special mention are Pune City, Pune Rural, Amrawati, Solapur & Sangli.

Few of his most significant achievements involved serving for Special Protections Group Unit for the State of Maharashtra (S.P.U), where his efforts were rewarded & received special recognitions, as he served the Honorable Presidents, Vice Presidents, Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers, Governors, Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers & Various V.V.I.P’s & Diplomats as a special protection officer throughout his long career.

Sir Ravindra Rasal shares a very keen interest in Counter Terrorism Operations & as a result of the same he was also given as the most important responsibility by the Maharashtra Intelligence Academy for training  MPSC officers specially in the field of Intelligence & Counter Terrorism activities. He also trained hundreds of fellow junior officers at the rank of  S.I at the Police Training Institute in Tasgaon, Sangli in the field of Crime Investigations.

Many high profile and top cases were catered by Sir Ravindra Rasal in Maharashtra region. Specially during his penultimate last 5 years which he spend in Pune Wanori , Swargate , Lashkar & Special Branch office.

He is known for truly sincere and tough police official and made citizens feel safe and secure in his time of administration.
